Description
Wabtec Bus Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of bus-related mechanical systems, including door systems, wheelchair lifts and ramps, windows, driver barriers, and charging products. The role involves creating detailed drawings and schematics, supporting product development, DFMEA and validation testing, prototype builds, test analysis, DFM/DFA alignment, quality root-cause analysis, and collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, field service, and sales teams. The position is primarily office-based with occasional travel and requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least three years of relevant experience, and proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software.
