Description
The Mechanical Engineer II independently designs and develops complex automotive test equipment and custom automated machinery from concept through installation and commissioning. The role creates 3D models, engineering drawings, bills of material, and manufacturing documentation; performs mechanical calculations and finite element analysis; supports fabrication, assembly, testing, installation, startup, and troubleshooting; collaborates with customers and cross-functional teams; manages multiple projects; and mentors junior engineering staff. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience, with domestic travel of up to 5–10%.
