Description
Textron Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support its unmanned surface vehicle programs in the Sea Systems business area. The role involves hardware engineering, concept development, prototyping, production, testing, and field testing of autonomous surface vehicles and their subsystems. Responsibilities include detailed mechanical design, structural, dynamics, and thermal analysis, documentation, design changes, and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, five years of experience, mechanical design and testing experience, familiarity with CAD tools, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
