Textron Systems is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to participate in and lead hardware development across the product lifecycle, from concept through lab integration and evaluation. The role involves complex mechanical design, structural, thermal, vibration, and tolerance analysis, CAD modeling, hardware integration, engineering documentation, risk management, trade studies, and mentorship of junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least five years of relevant experience, the ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret Security Clearance, and advanced CAD and mechanical-analysis skills.
