Blue Origin is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, analyze, integrate, test, and sustain multi-axis precision motion systems for advanced custom machines that produce flight hardware. The role covers mechanism design, kinematic and tolerance analysis, GD&T, structural and thermal-fluid integration, proof-of-concept and production hardware, field troubleshooting, and corrective design changes. It is an on-site Washington role requiring a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least five years of precision-mechanical-systems experience, and U.S. citizenship or equivalent legal status; relocation is provided and the base pay range for Washington applicants is $121,023.00 to $169,432.20.
