Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Mechanical Engineer in Santa Clara, California, to troubleshoot mechanical problems, develop custom tooling and fixturing, create engineering layouts and specifications, analyze complex mechanical issues, coordinate suppliers and procurement, and support hardware product performance and testing. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of experience, along with CAD, thermodynamics, sheet metal, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, and flow analysis knowledge. The position includes 10% travel and is eligible for relocation.
