Description
Foundation is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the design and iteration of custom robotic hands and fingers. The role involves CAD modeling, linkage and tendon routing, tolerance and GD&T analysis, lightweight structural design, FEA, and hands-on fabrication and prototyping. Candidates should be pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and have coursework or experience in kinematics, mechanism design, contact mechanics, tolerance analysis, CAD, and basic FEA.
