Description
CRB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to develop and implement project deliverables for life sciences and food and beverage design and construction projects. The intern will work under a mentor on HVAC, mechanical utility, plumbing, fire protection, and other building support systems, including load calculations, utility assessments, energy modeling, design reports, code evaluations, construction drawings, specifications, installation details, and coordination with manufacturers, vendors, clients, and contractors. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering, Microsoft Office proficiency, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and familiarity with AEC software and industry standards; HVAC experience, engineering exam registration, BIM tools, and prior mechanical engineering internship experience are preferred.
