Description
Design Group is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and support capital projects for manufacturing, distribution, and other industrial and commercial facilities. The role involves designing mechanical systems such as HVAC, chilled water, wastewater, cooling towers, boilers, steam, compressed air, and plumbing systems; developing sprinkler specifications; performing equipment sizing and hydronic piping design; coordinating with vendors and on-site teams; inspecting installations; and using AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Trane Trace, and Carrier HAP. Candidates need at least six years of mechanical facilities design experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school, and a P.E. license to seal engineering documents. The position is based in one of Design Group’s 45 United States offices, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates outside the local area, and offers an approximate pay range of $110,000 to $150,000.
