Universal Avionics is hiring an onsite Manager, Packaging and Optics in Duluth, Georgia, to lead a mechanical engineering, PCB design, and optical systems team within Hardware Development. The role combines people leadership with technical direction across electromechanical and opto-mechanical design, thermal and structural analysis, PCB processes, displays, prototypes, testing, and environmental qualification. Candidates need a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, at least seven years of electromechanical design experience, seven years in multidisciplinary project teams, and expertise in thermal and structural finite element analysis, PTC Creo, PCB assemblies, machining, sheet-metal design, and aerospace environments.
