The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop conceptual and detailed designs for marine equipment, piping systems, and mechanical packages; apply ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM, and NFPA standards; analyze pumps, generators, compressors, and hydraulic systems; prepare technical drawings, specifications, and budgets; evaluate offshore structure integrity and hydrodynamic conditions; and investigate equipment failures. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or marine engineering, 5–10 years of marine or offshore oil and gas mechanical design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 3D modeling software and FEA tools, and knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
