EON is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to own the design, analysis, manufacturing, and field deployment of ground-terminal mechanisms and structures for a space-based laser-link system. The role covers gimbal and coarse-steering mechanisms, telescope supports, enclosures, structural and thermal analysis, supplier management, design for manufacturability, and integration from bench to site.
