Baird, Hampton & Brown is hiring a full-time, exempt Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) to oversee small- to mid-size mechanical and HVAC/plumbing design projects across commercial, industrial, retail, medical, municipal, and school sectors. The role includes designing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, steam, gas, compressed-air, ductwork, and utility systems; preparing cost estimates, specifications, and design analyses; managing mechanical engineering for small projects; supervising installations; performing construction administration; and attending client meetings. The position requires an ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree, a Professional Engineer license, at least two years of licensed experience designing mechanical HVAC/plumbing systems, and proficiency with Revit or AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
