Description
HDR is hiring a Mechanical Engineer (PE) - Buildings to coordinate mechanical design teams through schematic and contract-document phases, support code-compliance reviews, review and edit mechanical documents, coordinate addenda and change orders, administer construction contracts, and lead mechanical and plumbing design. The role also includes load and plumbing calculations, equipment and system selection, and quality assurance of other mechanical project personnel. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, prior commercial or institutional mechanical-system design experience, professional engineering licensure, computer experience with MS Office and similar software, and prior experience with an architectural, engineering, or engineering consulting firm.
