Description
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will perform operations and maintenance engineering for a military installation, including design and construction support, repair, modification, upgrade, operational testing, replacement planning, technical analysis, cost estimates, schedules, drawings, specifications, and professional consultation on complex mechanical systems. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent education-and-experience combination, at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband level, knowledge of mechanical engineering and related standards, and the ability to lead projects, coordinate with other disciplines, and communicate effectively. U.S. citizenship, Selective Service registration for males, security clearance, current certifications, and possible travel, overtime, and drug testing are also required.
