Description
Menlo Research is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, validate, and bring production-ready mechanical systems for its humanoid robot Asimov. The role covers joints, actuators, enclosures, structural members, 3D CAD, test rigs, DFM, GD&T, materials, rapid prototyping, and integration with firmware and electrical systems. Candidates need at least three years of hands-on mechanical design experience on high-complexity electromechanical products, strong Solidworks skills, sheet-metal and additive-manufacturing experience, GD&T knowledge, FEA ability, and experience with materials, actuators, fasteners, and mechanisms.
