Description
Kapta Space is hiring an onsite Mechanical Engineer in Seattle, Washington, to develop rugged printed-circuit-board systems, avionics enclosures, RF systems, power systems, and mounting solutions for spaceborne and defense applications. The role owns hardware delivery from requirements through fabrication, testing, and qualification; performs mechanical and thermal analyses; generates 3D CAD; manages integration schedules; and mentors junior engineers. Candidates need a mechanical, aerospace, or related degree, at least six years of mechanical and thermal design experience, CAD and finite-element-analysis skills, electronics-packaging and PCB experience, and U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status.
