Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Mechanical Engineer Sr. to support the Propulsion group’s manufacturing and production of boost rocket motor subsystems. The role focuses on propulsion hardware, manufacturing processes, and requalification efforts, including research, design, development, testing, analysis, assembly, integration, and hardware testing. The position requires a related bachelor’s degree, exposure to engineering project management, propulsion rocketry, manufacturing, or energetics, Microsoft Office proficiency, teamwork, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Desired qualifications include missile or aerospace experience, FBM processes and products, EVM and technical evaluation experience, and AI prompting proficiency. The full-time salary range is $95,900 to $178,100, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
