Description
SpaceX is hiring a Mechanical Engineer (Starshield) to own the design, development, testing, production, and on-orbit operation of complex satellite mechanisms and electromechanical systems. The role covers requirements, CAD and FEA design, DFM, environmental and performance testing, product delivery, and lifecycle optimization, with a bachelor’s degree, CAD or FEA experience, and at least one year of mechanical or electromechanical design and analysis experience required. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, Top Secret clearance, GD&T, integrated engineering experience, and structural analysis knowledge. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 depending on level, with medical, vision, dental, retirement, disability, life, paid leave, and other benefits.
