Lockheed Martin is hiring a Thermal Protection System Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) for the Fleet Ballistic Missile D5LE2 Program’s Propulsion, Structures, Ordnance, and Controls team. The role owns the development and qualification of structural thermal protection systems, creates and executes test plans, validates requirements compliance, collaborates with manufacturing and program stakeholders, and advances designs through reviews, test flights, and production. Candidates need relevant mechanical, materials, or related engineering experience, aerospace materials development experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. The position offers a full-time salary range of $118,000 to $219,100 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
