Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Structural Analysis Engineer to perform structural analyses for reentry vehicles, including nonlinear and dynamic analyses, and to develop and maintain finite-element models of hostile-encounter events, penetration mechanics, and impact physics. The role also includes preparing test plans, post-processing test data, compiling reports, reviewing and implementing program requirements, presenting analysis data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Candidates need structural-analysis knowledge, FEM/FEA experience, a related master's degree, and active or current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain or maintain Top Secret clearance; the position requires United States citizenship and offers a full-time salary range of $79,300 to $147,300.
