CHAOS Industries is hiring a Mechanical Engineer – Structures to lead the mechanical integration of ruggedized electronics, effectors, launchers, mechanisms, and support equipment into ground- and sea-mobile platforms for aerospace and defense applications. The role covers architecture, detailed design, CAD modeling, structural and thermal analysis, prototyping, qualification testing, production transition, configuration control, and fielded-system sustainment. It is a full-time, on-site position in El Segundo, California, requiring a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, 0–3 years of progressively responsible experience, CAD proficiency, familiarity with military standards and ruggedized hardware, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. The stated base salary range is $110,000–$138,000, with medical, dental, and vision benefits fully paid by the company.
