Description
CACI is hiring a full-time Mechanical Engineer - Sustaining to support the development and production of space-based laser communications technology. The role bridges design and manufacturing by diagnosing complex optomechanical, electromechanical, optical, electronic, and control-system issues; leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions; improving yield and manufacturability; supporting acceptance and environmental testing; and managing engineering change orders and documentation. Candidates need a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, U.S. citizenship, at least five years of relevant industry experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks, PDM/PLM systems, GD&T, and mechanical drafting. The position may require up to 25% travel within the continental United States and offers a proposed salary range of $86,600 to $181,800.
