Description
fab2 is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design, iterate, and build specialized semiconductor fabrication equipment and subsystems, including deposition, etch, annealing, plasma tools, and components such as mass flow controllers, pressure sensors, valves, and pumps. The role requires end-to-end ownership of mechanical systems, collaboration with process, electrical, software, and production teams, sourcing components, and demonstrating the ability to design and ship machined and fabricated metal parts. Candidates need 2–7 years of mechanical and electromechanical system design and hands-on prototyping experience, a relevant engineering or physics degree, and experience with vacuum systems or fluid handling hardware.
