Lockheed Martin is hiring an Associate Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a team of Mechanical Engineers and Analysts responsible for the design, analysis, verification, and testing of Orion flight hardware for upcoming Artemis missions. The role includes staff development, collaboration with senior management and customer representatives, and oversight of mechanical products and systems. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering or equivalent experience, NASA human-rated spacecraft experience, and mechanical engineering expertise; prior technical leadership, NASA program experience, and proficiency with CAD or analysis tools are desired.
