The Mechanical Engineering Manager leads subordinate engineers and technical teams through the research, planning, design, development, testing, and integration of mechanical and electromechanical systems, including aerospace hardware, instruments, controls, engines, robots, and thermal or hydraulic systems. The role manages staffing, technical processes, product strategy, risks, and project deliverables while collaborating with stakeholders and senior leadership. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, experience leading small technical teams, knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, and the ability to obtain a security clearance; US citizenship is required.
