Description
Vertiv is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to support lead engineers in developing 3D parts, assembly CAD models, 2D drawings, model-based definitions, bills of materials, and PLM/PDM data for liquid-cooling products. The role involves sheet-metal and HVAC piping design, material and hardware selection, supplier coordination, prototype validation, manufacturing support, and quality improvement. Candidates should have mechanical engineering knowledge, 3–5 years of mechanical design experience preferably in HVAC or refrigeration, CAD expertise with PTC Creo preferred, PLM and PDM experience, HVAC/R knowledge, and good English communication skills. The position requires safety equipment when supporting factory operations and may involve 10% local, regional, or global travel; Vertiv does not provide work authorization sponsorship.
