Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Entegris

Entegris is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to support the design, development, testing, and documentation of ultra-high-purity gas purification systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The full-time, six-month assignment is based in San Luis Obispo, California, and runs from January through June. Responsibilities include SolidWorks mechanical design, component performance evaluation, pressure vessel and piping documentation, laboratory testing, hardware troubleshooting, engineering change requests, data analysis, and technical documentation. Candidates must be currently enrolled students pursuing a mechanical engineering or related degree, available for 40 hours per week, and graduating in Spring 2027 or later. Compensation is $20-$30 per hour, with actual pay dependent on candidate skills.
