Mechanical Engineering Co-Op- UofL at Samtec, Inc

Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to work with engineering managers and teams, complete assigned projects, build trust, maintain customer focus, and follow up on actions. The co-op will gain exposure to connector-manufacturing technologies, including 3D and parametric design, finite-element analysis, molding, stamping, electroplating, metrology, failure analysis, rapid prototyping, and signal integrity. The role is intended for a student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with strong communication, teamwork, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, flexibility, innovation, and customer-service skills.
