Mechanical Engineering Director at Sezam

Sezam is recruiting a Mechanical Engineering Director for its established engineering company on Montreal’s South Shore. The role leads a team of approximately thirty engineers, designers, and draftspeople across two parallel industrial-equipment projects, while also managing department standards, resource allocation, budgets, technical reviews, client development, and people development. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, active membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, about ten years of engineering experience including several years supervising a technical team of ten or more, proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, and fluent French and functional English. Compensation is $150,000 to $165,000 depending on experience, plus an annual bonus of up to 15%, with group insurance, a group RRSP, vacation, and occasional client-development travel.
