HDR is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for a student currently enrolled in an engineering program. The intern will work under the supervision of a professional or Project Manager on power-generation and plant-improvement projects, including engineering calculations, code reviews, equipment and piping selection, piping and instrument diagrams, procurement and construction specifications, bid evaluations, system evaluations, technical reporting, vendor communication, and site visits. Preferred qualifications include progress toward a mechanical or related engineering degree, power and energy coursework, software knowledge, and AutoCAD or Microstation experience.
