Mechanical Engineering Intern at IMEG

IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for its Summer 2027 program in Chicago, Illinois. Over a 10–12 week, full-time, in-office internship, the intern will support mechanical-system analysis, design, implementation oversight, equipment research, project documentation, multidisciplinary coordination, addenda preparation, design reviews, and periodic job-site observations for vertical-building projects in education, government, and healthcare. The role requires at least two years completed toward a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with no prior experience required, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling software. The internship pays $22–$24 per hour; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
