INFICON is hiring a developmental Mechanical Design Engineer to support product modifications and improvements, troubleshoot manufacturing, quality, and supply-chain issues, and develop new scientific instrumentation products. The role involves creating manufacturable, serviceable, and reliable designs using Siemens NX, preparing detail drawings and bills of materials, and collaborating with engineers, scientists, operations, procurement, and marketing. Candidates must be active students pursuing Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, have a high school diploma, and possess 3-D modeling, mechanical design, manufacturing, and cross-functional teamwork skills. The position offers $18.00–$26.00 per hour and includes potential relocation support, medical coverage, and other benefits.
