Description
K2 Space is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a 3-month, in-person internship at its headquarters in Torrance. The intern will design, analyze, test, and build mechanical systems and structures for high-power satellites, own a significant project with mentor support, apply hand calculations and computational methods, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware trades. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a relevant engineering discipline and have at least six months of technical engineering experience outside the university classroom. The role pays $30–$40 per hour, with possible housing and travel stipends.
