The Mechanical Engineering Intern will support the planning and design of mechanical and plumbing systems for federal, state, transportation, aviation, and commercial projects. The role involves assisting with construction drawings and Revit models, engineering calculations, equipment selection, system layouts, reports, site surveys, shop drawings, submittals, and interdisciplinary coordination. It is based in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, with a hybrid flexible schedule and intermittent local travel, and pays $20–$25 per hour.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution
Required Previous Experiences: At least two years of coursework in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications: Prior internship, co-op, academic, or project experience related to mechanical, plumbing, or building systems design
Familiarity with Revit or other 3D modeling software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Bluebeam or other PDF markup/manipulation software
