Description
The Mechanical Engineering Intern will support the planning and design of mechanical and plumbing systems for federal, state, transportation, aviation, and commercial projects. The role involves assisting with construction drawings and Revit models, engineering calculations, equipment selection, system layouts, reports, site surveys, shop drawings, submittals, and interdisciplinary coordination. It is based in Salt Lake City, Utah; Denver or Lakewood, Colorado; or Idaho Falls, Idaho, with a hybrid flexible schedule and intermittent local travel. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, have completed at least two years of coursework, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills. Compensation is approximately $20–$25 per hour.
