Description
Overview Energy is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern to design the structure supporting its ground beacon system, including transportable mounting, a platform for beacon equipment, CAD models, drawings, environmental and transportation analysis, and field checkout support. The internship is paid, part-time, on-site in Northern Virginia, runs from September 2026 through March 2027 for 5–10 hours per week, and pays $30–$40 per hour. Candidates must be enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or master's program with an expected Spring 2027 graduation and have CAD, fabrication or assembly, and related coursework experience.
