Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will assist in designing mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and components for specialized vacuum furnaces, including CAD work, design concepts, component specifications, thermal and mechanical modeling, and engineering evaluations. The role requires knowledge of FEA, heat transfer, energy balance, high-temperature materials, and CAD software, along with a current bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. The position pays $20–$23 per hour depending on experience and involves office work with periodic plant-floor visits.
