Description
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Pullman, Washington, with part-time work during the school year and full-time work during the summer. The intern will support mechanical engineering staff, develop engineering plans, perform tolerance, root cause, ROI, and structural analyses, design plastic, machined, and sheet-metal parts, create test and validation plans, update SolidWorks models and drawings, document project information, and enter technical data into company databases. The role requires a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, hands-on engineering experience, testing ability, problem-solving skills, SolidWorks or equivalent CAD experience, and strong communication skills; familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes is preferred. Pay is $24.25–$33.00 per hour.
