Description
Swanson Rink is hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern to support the design of sustainable, energy-efficient, and reliable building infrastructure for data centers, airports, and other complex buildings. The intern will work under supervision on HVAC system selection, equipment planning and retrofitting, plumbing and sprinkler fire protection design, calculations, site surveys, construction observations, and compliance with applicable building, mechanical, plumbing, fire, and fuel gas codes. The role includes possible business travel and professional development, requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, authorization to work in the United States, and the ability to pass required background, security, or drug screenings. Compensation is approximately $26 per hour.
