TKDA is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join its summer internship program in Bloomington, Minnesota. The intern will work with civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural professionals on industrial, government, education, mining, and freight-rail mechanical design projects, assisting with studies, specifications, detailed drawings, process and piping diagrams, equipment arrangements, site assessments, and construction administration. The role requires an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical-systems design experience or coursework, MS Office, AutoCAD and Revit MEP or similar software, communication skills, local travel, and a valid driver’s license. The internship is intended for the summer of 2027, primarily from the Bloomington office with possible flexible or hybrid arrangements, and the formal interview process begins in late October.
