Rendezvous Robotics is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer in Golden, Colorado for a full-time, 12–15-week Spring 2027 project. The role focuses on designing and iterating spacecraft docking connectors and structural components, supporting thermal management and mechanical integration of electronics, power systems, and sensors, developing harness and connector layouts, and running structural and thermal analyses. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, have CAD proficiency, and understand basic structural and thermal analysis; space-environment design, ruggedized connectors, prototyping, and FEA experience are preferred. The position requires U.S. government export-authorization eligibility.
