Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the Space Systems Division in developing flight mechanisms for separation systems at its Silver Spring, Maryland site. The intern will work with mentors and colleagues, apply engineering concepts to real challenges, attend regular progress updates, and participate in technical talks and networking events. The role requires enrollment in an engineering, physics, or mathematics degree program, a GPA of at least 3.0, and at least three months of applied engineering experience; it is full-time and on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in January, February, or March 2027, with compensation of $25 per hour in Maryland.
