fab2 is hiring full-stack Mechanical Engineering Interns for a summer internship beginning in May or June, with a preferred 4–8 month commitment. The intern will design, prototype, and build semiconductor fabrication equipment; write mechanical drawings and documentation; perform electromechanical analysis and simulations; and drive prototypes into production. The role requires an engineering degree, hands-on prototyping and electromechanical design experience, and a portfolio; semiconductor processing, electrical engineering, optical engineering, precision machine design, or vacuum-systems experience are preferred. The internship is paid hourly at an annualized range of $108,000–$126,000 depending on experience and education, with housing, benefits, and visa sponsorship available.
