CSX is hiring a Summer Intern for its 10-week program from May 24, 2027 through July 30, 2027 at its Jacksonville headquarters. The intern will review, design, and implement an analytics platform to monitor mechanical car reliability, repair, and production, while partnering with Facilities, Mechanical Car/Locomotive, and Transportation departments. The role requires a rising senior or graduate student, a minimum 3.0 GPA, relevant degree coursework, availability for up to 40 hours per week, and experience with programming languages such as Python or Java. Preferred qualifications include a 3.5 GPA, anticipated graduation within a year after the internship, and prior internship experience. The internship offers competitive hourly pay, potential co-op extension, and eligible housing support.
