Description
MatX is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Lead to own the mechanical design, thermal architecture, and system integration of rack-scale AI compute infrastructure from concept through production. The role leads mechanical engineers and JDM/ODM partners on AI compute trays, rack enclosures, liquid-cooled systems, DFM/DFA, reliability testing, and manufacturing qualification, while mentoring the mechanical and thermal team and managing schedules and risk. The position requires 15+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience and offers a US base salary of $160,000–$600,000 plus equity, depending on career level, along with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
