Description
The Mechanical Engineering Team Leader will lead and mentor mechanical engineers and drafters, coordinate engineering resources, develop engineers, and guide multidisciplinary projects across sold work, sustaining engineering, and new product development. The role reports to the Director of US Mechanical Engineering and may have dotted-line reporting to global leaders in new product development, sustaining engineering, or sold work. Responsibilities include product design, end-to-end project delivery, documentation, process implementation, and use of CAD, ERP, Microsoft 365, and AI tools. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least five years of progressive mechanical engineering experience, and three years of people-focused leadership experience; a master’s degree is preferred, along with experience with Flexo or CI equipment and fluency in English and German.
