Description
Katalyst is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead and grow its mechanical engineering organization across robotics, spacecraft bus design, arrays, and other space mechanisms. The role owns multiple spacecraft mechanical development efforts, establishes engineering standards, mentors engineers, drives architecture and technical decisions, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports integration, qualification, environmental testing, and flight readiness. Candidates need at least 8 years of aerospace or complex hardware mechanical engineering experience, 3–5 years leading engineering teams, and expertise in CAD, GD&T, manufacturing, assembly, qualification testing, and systems engineering. The anticipated base salary is $139,000–$225,000 annually, with equity, relocation, bonuses, and medical, vision, and dental coverage.
