Description
Teledyne Technologies is hiring a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer for mission-critical RF hardware in aerospace and defense. The role leads and grows a mechanical design, CAD, and document-control team; guides complex microwave assemblies from concept through production; partners with cross-functional teams on manufacturing transitions; sets technical standards; reviews designs and risks; improves cost, performance, reliability, and manufacturability; supports proposals and early-stage concept design; and mentors engineers. Candidates need strong leadership, mechanical design expertise, product-to-production experience, mechanical analysis and CAD experience, at least 15 years of relevant engineering experience, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required, with a stated salary range of $177,500 to $236,600.
