Intuitive Surgical is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Manager for its GI Robot Platform team to lead the development, documentation, verification, and launch of new surgical products. The role manages a team of mechanical engineers and other technical personnel, guides product architecture and design decisions, coordinates with cross-functional groups, and oversees staffing, budgeting, project costs, and regulatory design processes. Candidates need at least eight years of mechanical design experience, two years of direct people management experience, and five years of experience taking products from concept to production, along with a BS in mechanical engineering or a related field.
